This delightful and colorful series was painted en plein aire by Susan Abma in
Change Islands, NFLD.
The tiny island community, off the northeastern coast of NFLD, has preserved its history and retains the many stages, stores and homes similar to how they were in the 1950s.
Stages and stores are where fishermen bring in the catch and store their supplies and equipment.
The charm, character, and color of this friendly and quaint community made it a favorite of the artist and Change Islands (www.changeislands.ca) will be a regular stop on her Canadian painting tours.
