Susan Abma is an oil painter. She has done commissioned paintings for art galleries, corporations, government officials, various industries, and more. She is also the publisher of a national art magazine: Canadian Brushstroke Magazine.

Susan is currently involved in the very rewarding and important task of painting all of the Canadian soldiers who died in the war in Afghanistan. This project, done in collaboration with two other artists, is expected to be complete by 2011, when the exhibition will begin touring Canada.
